Hunt Museum-

Mobile Application

In the course of our understanding of the Hunt Museum, we learned that the hunt family donated a lot of personal collections in this museum, and the original location was with the University of Limerick,  the museum moved to its current position in 1997. The museum includes works by many famous artists as well as many historical items.

Usually, when we walking in a museum, we will follow the arranged route of the museum to looking at the works aimlessly, but normally the museum has a lot of people, therefore, we probably will miss some works due to many people around one painting or some other works. When we have a certain distance from the work, the introduction of the work makes our naked eyes not very clear to see. This has led us not to understand this work very clearly.

At the same time, museums come in many different forms. Some museums only have one artist's work, like the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, but most of the museums still contain works by many artists. At this time, when we saw an artist's work, how can we quickly get a similar work, or how to get other works of this artist include the place where these works are located.

For the above reasons, I thought that if we can use our mobile phone to download related apps to get relevant information, it will bring a lot of conveniences. Under normal circumstances, the museum will have its own wifi, so even if people's mobile phone's data is not working, they do not need to worry about this problem. In the application, I tried to avoid register and log in, this will save a lot of trouble and time. When using the camera of the mobile phone to capture the artwork. When the app gets the artwork, it will jump out of the basic information of the work. To continue to understand the deeper information of the work, people can click on the button for more information, and add a button to represent similar to the artwork. It's a fast way to get more information. In our daily life, not everyone is a big fan of history or art. If the app could provide these kinds of function, people can get the artwork where they want to move directly. In addition, a button can be added to let people know about other works of this artist. Such a page can make people get information more quickly, instead of needing to google search.

So I used Figma to follow my thoughts above to create a basic app demo in order to achieve a more intuitive effect.
